Miyawaki Sakura is a Japanese actress and singer. She is one of the members of IZ*ONE(since October 2018), HKT48(since 2011) and AKB48 Team A(from April 2014 to May 2018).

Japanese:宮脇 咲良(みやわき さくら)
Korean:미야와키 사쿠라 Sakura means cherry blossom in Japanese. Since she was born in the season of cherry blossom, her mother gave her the name 咲良(さくら) which has the same pronunciation with 桜(さくら). Also, 咲(pronounced "saki") means blossom in Japanese her mother hoped good thing will " blossom"(良いことが咲きますように。) so she called her 咲良.

She was born on March 19th, 1998 in Kagoshima(鹿児島市／かごしまし), Kyushu(九州／きゅうしゅう), Japan. Miyawaki Sakura, Kashiwagi Yuki(柏木 由紀) and Fujizono Rei(藤園麗) are the only three members in the AKS company that are from Kagoshima.
Career
In 2008, she became an actress and joined the performance of "The Lion King" in Shiki Theater which is a very famous theater in Japan.
On July 10th, 2011, she joined HKT48 as a trainee. At first, she joined the AKS company for a chance to become an actress. On March 4th, 2012, she joined the new HKT48 Team H. On June 6th, 2012, she joined AKB48 Selection General Election and got the 47th place. She was the first member of HKT48 to be in the top 64th in the General Election and the youngest person in the top 64th.
On January 11th, 2014, she got in the new team KIV. On February 24th, she became the co-captain of Team KIV and a member of AKB48 Team A.
Later on, she joined the following General Elections and got very good scores(26th in 2013, 11th in 2014, 7th in 2015, 6th in 2016 and 4th in 2017).
World Heritage(天文館ミリオネーション)
On November 14th, 2015, she became the endorser of World Heritage(天文館ミリオネーション2016) in Kagoshima.
In the same year, she got the chance to act in the film Majisuka Gakuen. Majisuka Gakuen(マジすか学園) is a Japanese television drama series by AKS idols. She was both the main character in season 4 and 5. She also acted in the Majisuka Gakuen 0(マジすか学園0 木更津乱闘編), the prequel of season 4 and 5. In 2016, she was the main character of the film Cabasuka Gakuen(キャバすか学園) which is the season 6 of the series.
In 2018, she joined her last General election and got the 3rd place. On April 11th, she joined a Korean reality show, Produce 48.(프로듀스 48). She was the center of the show's theme song.

She got the 2nd place in the end and joined the Japanese-Korean girl group IZ*ONE. Miyawaki Sakura, Yabuki Nako(矢吹 奈子) and Honda Hitomi(本田 仁美) are the three Japanese members of IZ*ONE.
AKS
Kabushiki-kaisha AKS(株式会社AKS) is a Japanese talented agency. It began in 2004. The name AKS came from the three founders of the company, Yasushi Akimoto(秋元 康), Yasushi Kubota(窪田 康志) and Kotaro Shiba(芝 幸太郎). AKB48 Group (AKBグループ) is the largest pop group according to the Guinness World Records. The company has 6 groups in Japan: AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48, STU48 (also SDN48 from 2009- 2012) and many other groups oversea: JKT48, BNK48, MNL48, AKB48 Team TP(TPE48), AKB48 Team SH, SGO48, (preparing: CGM48, DEL48, MUB48).
IZ*ONE(아이즈원/アイズワン
On October 29th, 2018, IZ*ONE published their first extended play(EP, mini album) "COLOR*IZ". With the song "La Vie en Rose(라비앙로즈)", they got to the top in the ranking of many music players.

On November 8th, 2018, they got the first place in music show "M! Countdown". On November 29th, they got the first Rookie Award in Asia Artist Award(아시아 아티스트 어워즈). Also, the got the Best New Female Group and Best New Asian Artist in the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Award(MAMA).
On February 6th, 2019, they had their first song "Suki To Iwasetai(好きと言わせたい)" published in Japan. On April 1st, 2019, they published their 2nd EP "HEART*IZ". The main song "Violeta" got them first place in several music shows, "M! Countdown", "THE SHOW", "Show Champion", etc. Their EP "HEART*IZ" got 6th place on Billboard's group's best World Albums rank.
On June 26th, they published another Japanese song, "Buenos Aires" which was also famous. On September 25th, they had their Japanese song, "Vampire" published.

They planned to publish their first album "BLOOM*IZ" with the main song"Fiesta(축제)" on November 11th, 2019.

However, the company "CJ ENM" was in the problem of faking the result of the show PRODUCE 48 (Produce 101 seasons), so their events were delayed or canceled. The leaders of CJ ENM were arrested by the police on November 6th, 2019.
Happily, IZ*ONE announced to come back on January 6th, 2020. They are planning to publish their new album "BLOOM*IZ" this month (January, 2020).
Others
She also has a YouTube channel(ちゃんねる宮脇咲良) about gaming. The channel started on March 16th, 2018.
